Mapaila said the Western countries only thrived on war and oppression.
According to the SACP leader, South Africans must rally behind the African National Congress (ANC) in the upcoming elections to prevent neoliberal forces and capitalists from taking over the government.
"These elections, these are massive elections not only for the African National Congress and the people of this country," said Mapaila.
"These are international elections against exploitation, these are elections between the African people as a whole, and against the oppressors of the West who want to take us back."
