Limpopo bus crash: 8-year old survivor 'doing well' - Health MEC

JOHANNESBURG - Government officials say the sole survivor of a horrific bus accident that claimed the lives of at least 45 people in Limpopo is making a recovery in hospital.
The victim - an eight-year-old girl - was among a group of 46 passengers headed for an Easter church celebration in Moria from Botswana's capital Gaborone on Thursday, before the bus they were travelling in crashed and caught fire.

Officials found the girl at the scene alongside 34 dead bodies before transporting her to hospital for treatment.
Limpopo Health MEC Phophi Ramathuba praised hospital staff for assisting the girl in making a recovery.
"She is doing well. She is in hospital and has been stabilised. I am satisfied with her condition."
