DURBAN - The African Nation Congress (ANC) in KwaZulu-Natal has accused the uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party of committing a crime by using uMkhonto weSizwe's name and logo.
The Durban High Court on Wednesday heard arguments in a case brought by the ANC challenging Zuma's party from using the name.

The governing party argued that the trademark belongs to its former anti-apartheid armed wing.
On Wednesday, supporters marched to the Durban High Court in their numbers to support their respective parties.
MK Party supporters were around the court precinct, ANC supporters gathered at a nearby park instead.
In his address to party supporters, ANC provincial chairperson Siboniso Duma accused the MK Party of stealing from his party.
“We know how to differentiate between the ANC and something that is trying to imitate the ANC. Even if it is stolen by someone who used to lead the ANC, we can still see that this is an act of criminality.”
Although the armed wing was disbanded from the ANC, Duma claims that the name, uMkhonto weSizwe, is affiliated with the governing party.
However, former President Jacob Zuma told his MK supporters that the ANC had no case against them.
Judgment has been reserved.
