AKA’s ‘Mass Country’ album hits 99 million streams

A year since its release, AKA’s final album ‘Mass Country’ has achieved over 99 million streams.
After his sudden tragic death on 10 February, the family decided to honour his legacy by releasing the album on 24 February.
Representative’s from the late rapper’s camp took to social media to share the achievement.
“Thank you to the Megacy for getting Mass Country this far one year later… Megacy over everything, take a bow!”

The album includes features from AKA’s partner Nadia Nakai, Blxckie, Yanga Chief, Sjava, Nasty C, Khuli Chana, Musa Keys, and more.
A few months after its release, it was certified platinum after selling over 35,000 music units, the equivalent of 41 million streams in South Africa.
