Emotional DJ Thabiso Sikwane reveals she survived hijacking incident
In an Instagram video posted on Monday, veteran DJ, Thabiso Sikwane, revisited her experience of being hijacked in May.

JOHANNESBURG – Grateful at her second chance of life, Thabiso Sikwane revealed she was hijacked in May by alleged gunmen.
The veteran DJ took to her social media to share a teary-eyed video of herself reliving the traumatic experience.
“That experience could have gone any way. It was a moment that I knew my heavenly father wanted to show me another side of him, that he is my protector. Just the incredible moment of seeing God in action and the truth of his word manifesting and happening to you,” she said.
Sikwane said she did not have any intention of sharing her experience, but she felt compelled to share it as a testimony.
In the video, she shared that the incident strengthened her faith in God as she recalled praying for both her and the gunmen.
“Anybody who has survived a hijacking knows how traumatic it is. On that day, in that moment, knowing that I am never alone, as soon as I said, 'Papa, take over,' the most incredible thing happened. An overwhelming sense of peace."
