The first-ever pictures of a 'free' Oscar Pistorius (37), captured by Deaan Vivier (Netwerk24, Gallo Images) and published in the Daily Mail UK, is trending on social media.
The images show the disgraced Paralympian 'walking and smiling' as he reported to the parole office in Pretoria.
Pistorius is, according to Friedman, looking 'a lot leaner now, greyer and quite chilled and happy as he's walking along smiling'.

Pistorius, the first double amputee to compete in the able-bodied Olympic games, regained his freedom in January 2024 after serving almost nine years for shooting dead his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp (29) on Valentine's Day in 2013, through a locked bathroom door, later claiming he had thought she was an intruder.
Pistorius remains under house arrest at his uncle's luxury mansion in Waterkloof, Pretoria while following parole rules which include:
- Undergoing anger management classes
- Not consuming alcohol
- Not owning any weapons
- Not conducting any media interviews until 2029
Reports confirm that Pistorius spends his time praying and playing video games.

"The articles say that he [Pistorius] spends his time praying in between playing video games and greeting friends and family. I don't understand the connection there... it's all very strange to me, but that's Oscar's life right now".
