Police search Middelpos premises in search of missing Joshlin Smith
Joshlin has been missing for two months after disappearing from her family home in Middelpos on 19 February.

CAPE TOWN - Police said they conducted a search at a premises in Middelpos, Saldanha Bay, on Wednesday as part of their search for missing six-year-old, Joshlin Smith.
Joshlin has been missing for two months after disappearing from her family home in Middelpos on 19 February.
The child's mother, Kelly Smith, her boyfriend Jacquin Appolis, Stevano van Rhyn and Lourencia Lombaard have since been arrested and charged with kidnapping and human trafficking related to Joshlin's disappearance.
Police spokesperson, Malcom Pojie, said that public order policing was deployed to protect the outer perimeter of the town on Wednesday.
Pojie said that an investigation team conducted a search at a premises in the area after receiving a lead about the possible whereabouts of Joshlin.
He said that the volatile situation in the town related to Joshlin's disappearance prompted police to take precautions.
Pojie said that the search yielded no results but the investigating team would continue pursuing all leads to trace Joshlin.
