CAPE TOWN - Cape Town International Airport has been voted the best in Africa for the ninth year in a row.

The airport also won the award for Best Airport Staff Service on the continent for the fourth consecutive year.

Western Cape Premier Alan Winde said he was proud of the Cape Town International Airport team.

"We've also seen that while winning this award, they also broke the record with the number of arrivals. We've had more tourists now than ever before coming through our airport and that drives massive job creation in our region because more tourists that arrive has a direct correlation to the number of jobs."
