At least 22 people injured after Putco bus catches fire on way to Pretoria

JOHANNESBURG - At least 22 people were injured on Moloto Road heading to Pretoria, after a Putco bus carrying passengers caught fire.
Bus company Putco said the incident took place earlier on Wednesday.
The victims were receiving medical attention at various hospitals.
In a video that made the rounds on social media, passengers could be seen jumping from the windows of the burning bus.
Putco spokesperson, Lindokuhle Xulu, said an investigation into the cause of the blaze was underway.
"The report that I have says 22 people have been injured but our managers are at the different hospitals tallying those numbers. We will have a better understanding at a better stage in terms of the number of people injured."
