Movie lovers finally got their first look at the upcoming ‘Beetlejuice’ sequel with Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder.

Warner Bros. released the teaser trailer for the follow-up film, titled ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’.

Keaton returns to the iconic roles 36 years after the first film, by director Tim Burton, was released in 1988.

Burton recently shared that the film wrapped up production last year after teasing a potential sequel for over a decade.

Set some years after the original, ‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ catches up with Lydia (played by Ryder) and her teenage daughter Astrid (Jenna Ortega) as they travel home to Winter River after a loss in the family.

What mischief Beetlejuice gets up to is yet to be revealed.

‘Beetlejuice Beetlejuice’ is set to hit theatres on 6 September 2024.
