Trump's bid for re-election a great test for America, says Ohio Supreme Court Justice
Justice Jennifer Brunner said the November presidential elections present the US with an opportunity to look beyond personalities and to instead put forward someone who will do the best job for the nation.

OHIO - A Justice of the Supreme Court in Ohio says former US President Donald Trump’s bid for re-election is a great test for America.
Justice Jennifer Brunner said the November presidential elections present the country with an opportunity to look beyond personalities, and to instead put forward someone who will do the best job for the nation.
Trump and incumbent Joe Biden are leading the race in their respective parties, with the two likely to have a repeat of their 2020 elections showdown.

With the former president facing multiple indictments across various states, Brunner said it’s crucial for his candidature not to be affected by these.
According to polls, most citizens would like Trump’s legal matters to be put to bed before the November elections.
Brunner said with the many states, each with their own set of laws, it will be crucial to ensure no candidate running for the federal government gets discriminated against.
“This country has historically been a very tolerant country, of diverse and divergent views and it sometimes, from the outside can look pretty wacky but it’s those freedoms that are sacrosanct.”
