Hawks raid SAFA: 'Football is not squeaky clean'
The Confederation of African Football is investigating a Hawks raid on the South African Football Association.

The Hawks conducted a search and seizure operation at Safa’s headquarters after allegations of fraud and theft of R3 million.
Safa’s Danny Jordaan denies wrongdoing and slammed the Hawks raid.

CAF is demanding a report from SAFA as they too are investigating the allegations.
Mbebe says, globally, there is a lot to hide in football.

He says the football fraternity ‘takes care of each other', even in cases of unethical dealings.
“If there is money involved and conflict of interest, of course, it will go around.”

However, Mbebe argues corruption seems to be improving under the current CAF president.
“At least at CAF you can see the cleansing is happening.”
