JOHANNESBURG - KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) police have dismissed allegations that two suspects awaiting extradition from Eswatini have been arrested in connection with the murder of rapper Kiernan "AKA" Forbes and his friend, Tibz Motsoane.
This follows media reports from the neighbouring country claiming that the suspects, who are allegedly from KwaZulu-Natal, fled to Eswatini where they were apprehended.

Police said that these suspects were arrested in connection to the murder and attempted murder from a shooting incident that occurred in Berea, Johannesburg in March last year.
Forbes and Motsoane were shot dead in Durban over a year ago.
"Any development in that case will be timeously communicated with the concerned families first and then the public, through the media, will be informed of the developments," said provincial commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
