Pandor reveals her security beefed up over concerns in wake of ICJ case against Israel
International Relations Minister Naledi Pandor said that Israeli intelligence had been attempting to intimidate her following South Africa's decision to have that country tried for genocide before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).

CAPE TOWN - International Relations Minister Naledi Pandor said that Israeli intelligence had been attempting to intimidate her following South Africa's decision to have that country tried for genocide before the International Court of Justice (ICJ).
Pandor, who spoke to journalists outside Parliament after President Cyril Ramaphosa’s State of the Nation Address, said she was worried about the safety of her family as some of the messages posted on social media made mention of her children.
She also confirmed that Police Minister Bheki Cele had to beef up her security.
Pandor said that despite the personal cost of taking on Israel, the government would see the ICJ matter through.
"This is par for the course. The Israeli agents, the intelligence services, this is how they behave, and they seek to intimidate you, so we must not be intimidated. There is a cause that is under way. The people of the world and of Palestine didn’t draw back when apartheid was at its worst."
