Cape Winelands Fire Services contain most of the fires in the area
However, there is a blaze raging in the Matroosberg mountain near De Doorns.

CAPE TOWN - The Cape Winelands District Municipality’s Fire Services said it has made excellent progress on all the fires in the region, except the blaze raging in the Matroosberg mountain near De Doorns .
However, the municipality's fire services said they're monitoring that fire very closely.
Municipality spokesperson Jo-Anne Otto said that all other fires have been contained, and mopping-up operations will continue for the next few days.
"The fire in the Matroosberg area above De Doorns continues to move towards the Lakenvlei area that has previously burned. Teams are hopeful that it will burn itself out as it reaches this area. There is concern that it may turn into the opposite direction where there is a higher fuel load."
