Texas is facing devastating floods, with mobile homes, vehicles and holiday cabins being swept away by the force.
The Guadalupe River rose 7.9 metres in less than an hour, reaching its second-highest level on record, causing the floods.
Rescue efforts are underway for 27 young girls, mostly under the age of 12, who were at a summer camp when their cabins were swept away.

A state of emergency has been declared in several areas where roads have been swept away, and phone lines are down.
So far, 51 people have been confirmed dead, including 15 children.
