Parents at Soweto school raise concerns about COVID-19 precautions

Parents at Isipho Primary School are demanding clarity from the Soweto school on when it was sanitised and how the teachers planned on keeping it clean throughout the school day. Grade 7 and 12 pupils returned to the classroom on Monday morning after almost three months under national lockdown. Despite assurances from the Education Department and the school, some parents were not convinced that the necessary arrangements had been made to protect their children from contracting COVID-19.
