The veteran actress wrote an open letter directed to the Minister of Arts and Culture Nathi Mthethwa on Monday.
Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa has received a six-page open letter penned by actress Vatiswa Ndara highlighting what she called an already rotten system used by production companies in the acting industry.
Lawyers representing the company, owned by veteran actors Connie and Shona Ferguson, said they were awaiting instructions from their client regarding a letter penned by the veteran actress.
Some of the country's finest acting talents have spoken out against unfair practices in the industry in support of Vatiswa Ndara.
Ndara wrote a letter to the Arts and Culture Ministry, detailing some of her grievances about pay in the SA acting industry.
Vatiswa Ndara bemoaned the unfair and exploitative practices, which she said were rife in the acting industry.
