United nations mission in congo
Nine killed as Congo troops clash with ex-militia fighters
Clashes erupted when soldiers prevented former fighters from leaving a camp for demobilised militia groups.
The two were killed in Goma during protests against a possible delay to November elections.
The soldiers allegedly abandoned their posts while on a United Nations peacekeeping mission.
The two were attacked in the village of Kikiki, around 50km north of the town of Beni in North Kivu province.
Southern African nations have pledged to provide troops for a neutral force in eastern Congo.
