Unabridged birth certificates for children
Home Affairs: The economy won't do well if security isn't tight
Home Affairs says South Africa needs to decide whether it cared more about children’s safety than money.
The dept says the tourism industry deliberately caused confusion about the new visa regulations.
From Monday, children entering or exiting South Africa will need to have their unabridged birth certificates.
With new visa regulations being implmented on Monday, the dept has a backlog of 4,000 applications.
The Home Affairs Minister is adamant that new visa regulations won’t impact the economy negatively.
