Investigating Directorate to monitor alleged Gupta fixer Kuben Moodley
Moodley was granted bail on Wednesday of R150, 000 by the Palm Ridge Specialised Commercial Crimes Court.
Moodley was arrested at OR Tambo International Airport en route to Dubai on Tuesday. He is accused of improperly awarding Transnet contracts to Regiments Capital and Trillian.
The alleged fixer for the Gupta family appeared in court on Wednesday afternoon after he was arrested at OR Tambo Airport on Tuesday night as he was about to board a plane en route to Dubai.
The man was linked to money laundering and contracts that were improperly awarded by Transnet to Regiments Capital and Trillian.
Testifying at the state capture commission on Thursday, former Transnet CFO Anoj Singh said that he could not explain why he signed an addendum that saw consultancy firm Trillian inherit Regiments' stake of a McKinsey contract.
