WC health officials say COVID-19 'super spreader' event in Claremont contained
According to Western Cape health authorities, 106 people had recovered.
Health officials said that dozens of patrons, among them teenagers, contracted the virus following a night out at Tin Roof recently.
At least 63 people contracted the virus, among them teenagers, almost two weeks ago. The infections were traced back to a party held at the Tin Roof in Claremont.
Premier Allan Winde said that a full investigation by police and the Western Cape Liquor Authority into the bar in question was now under way.
The cattle floated upwards as floodwaters mounted at the weekend in Gurye, a farming town in the country's south, and scrambled to safety on the roofs of several houses and other buildings.
