Vavi responded to a letter of notice to suspend him, in which he was given until close of business on Thursday to give reasons why she should not be suspended.
Zwelinzima Vavi confirmed receiving the notice of intention to suspend him stemming from a decision taken at a national office bearer meeting on Monday where he was in attendance.
