Communities help clean up Alexandra after violent looting
The community of Alexandra was up early on 15 July 2021 to clean up the streets and areas around the Pan Africa shopping centre. The centre was ransacked and damaged during the wave of violence that swept through parts of Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal. Communities from other areas also came to the township to assist with the clean-up operation.
