The Asset Forfeiture Unit (AFU) started valuing the assets in Bloemfontein soon after the seven accused were charged at the local magistrates court last Friday.
The first seven people and five companies have been charged and granted bail and their assets are being seized by the Asset Forfeiture Unit.
Some of these suspects were witnesses before the state capture commission this month.
Six of the seven suspects have been arrested in connection with the R255 million project.
