In court documents, recently fired Popcru general secretary Nkosinathi Theledi said that he was targeted for speaking out about Popcru president Zizamele Makhaza’s actions affecting the investment firm, PGC.
Nkosinathi Theledi claims that he was dismissed at a Popcru NEC meeting in July without being allowed to state his case.
Popcru has given SAPS management until Thursday to respond to its demands following a series of strikes.
Popcru says 40,000 members will participate in a nationwide strike.
