Keith Coleman, an anti-apartheid activist, told the inquiry on Monday about the torture that the other activists endured at the John Vorster Square police station.
Sisa Njikelana was testifying on Tuesday at the inquest looking into the death of Neil Aggett at the Johannesburg High Court.
Chikane said after Aggett was found hanging in his holding cell at the John Vorster Square, prisoners were allowed family visits and were fed regularly.
