11 killed in N1 crash between Beaufort West and Leeu Gamka
Eleven people have died in a collision between a bus and a taxi on the N1 between Beaufort West and Leeu Gamka in the Western Cape.
Two people were injured and taken to hospital when the truck collided with two other vehicles on Friday.
Protesters have barricaded the Grasmere Highway.
This comes after two stoning attacks on the highway over the past few days.
Tshwane metro police spokesperson Isaac Mahamba said at least seven injured people were transported to hospital for treatment.
