Mother concerned about kuruman school closures
‘NC prepared for influx of pupils’
Northern Cape Education Dept says it's prepared for the influx of school kids next year.
Over 50 schools were shut down in June for three months by a community group known as the Local Road Forum.
More than 460 Kuruman matriculants have been deregistered and will not sit for their final exams next month.

A total of 54 institutions have been closed for the past two months due to protest action.
An estimated 17,000 learners in the Northern Cape have not attended classes since 5 June.
Several schools were targeted in a protest over the poor state of roads in Kuruman.
