New Bafana Bafana coach announcement postponed to next week
The announcement of the new coach to replaced Molefi Ntseki will not take place on Saturday, 24 April 2021 as expected, due to COVID-19 travel issues.
Local media have installed him as favourite to succeed Molefi Ntseki, who was fired after South Africa lost in Sudan and failed to qualify for the 2021 Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
Molefi Ntseki became the fifth Bafana coach to lose his job in the past 10 years, with questions now being asked about the administration at the organistaion.
South Africa lost 2-0 to Sudan in their final group game to miss out on the tournament in Cameroon which will feature 24 nations.

The South African Football Association (Safa) has confirmed the appointment of Molefi Ntseki as the new Bafana Bafana head coach. Ntseki was initially appointed the coach on an interim basis three weeks ago following Stuart Baxter's departure last month.
Ntseki started out a school teacher before the coaching bug hit him and he followed his passion.
Stuart Baxter resigned as coach of the national team at a press conference on Friday.
