    Top-seeded Medvedev toils into Miami Open fourth round

    World No. 2 Medvedev, increasingly hampered as the third set wore on in the heat and humidity of South Florida, nevertheless mustered the only service break of the third set on the way to a dramatic victory over 86th-ranked Popyrin.

    Medvedev, Osaka through as Zverev tumbles out of Miami Open

    Russia's Medvedev needed just 56 minutes to subdue Lu 6-2, 6-2, firing nine aces with just one double fault as he advanced to a third-round meeting with Australian Alexei Popyrin, a 6-4, 6-2, winner over 30th-seeded American Reilly Opelka.

    Federer pulls out of Miami Open: report

    Tennis champion Roger Federer's withdrawal is a blow to organisers of the Miami tournament, who were forced to cancel last year's event as COVID-19 chaos left sport in North America at a standstill.
