SABC radio station Metro FM had to apologise for a Twitter poll posted on its official account on Saturday morning.
During Metro FM's The Wkndr Show, a poll asked for people's opinions on the new Miss South Africa. But it was not well-received.
On Tuesday afternoon, DJ Fresh tweeted what he called his final statement on the matter, revealing that he would be moving onto a new show and 'new chapter' on 1 August.
According to a report in 'Sunday World,' the DJ was taken off air after allegedly using an adaption of the isiZulu swear word "msunery" in response to a listener on air. In a separate incident DJ Fresh allegedly told another listener to "stop tweeting from his ar**".
Some fans have labelled DJ Fresh's move from 5FM a great loss to the station, while others welcomed him to Metro FM.
