After matric results, Gauteng govt to release performance of primary schools
For the first time, parents will get a picture of which primary schools are the best in the province.

Minister Motshekga met with the country’s top 30 performers in the national senior certificate exams at Vodaworld in Midrand earlier on Tuesday.

The IEB results are due out at midnight, while government schools will see their results released on Wednesday.
Results for the National Senior Certificate examinations are scheduled to be released on Wednesday.
Marks are adjusted upwards or downwards if the exam is found to be too easy or too difficult.

A total of 790,405 candidates sat for 147 question papers in 7,416 examination centres nationwide. A further 212 pupils wrote at correctional facilities.
These exams, which started on Thursday, replaced the February and May senior certificate exams.
