The former MP said that the ANC punished her because she wanted to uphold the rule of law and she spoke out that former President Zuma should step down.
Former ANC MP Makhosi Khoza testified at the state capture commission of inquiry on 4 February 2021. During her testimony, Khoza said she was highly critical of former SAA board chair Dudu Myeni, leading to other MP’s saying she was ‘counter-revolutionary.’ Khoza also spoke about the events that took place during the votes of no confidence against former President Zuma.
This regards a Constitutional Court ruling when Zuma was still president.
Former ANC MP Khoza said that the party's leadership said that it was under attack and that no MP would be allowed to vote against Zuma in a motion of no confidence but she believed that Zuma was a liability.
The state capture inquiry is hearing evidence from former ANC Member of Parliament Makhosi Khoza.
