Firefighters make significant progress to contain Jonkershoek fire
The blaze is not fully contained, as there are still a few active fire lines in the kloof of Banhoek.
Over 230 firefighters have been battling to contain the inferno which began six days ago and had already burnt over 8,000 hectares of vegetation.
