US hits 5 million COVID-19 cases: Johns Hopkins tally

The US tally reached 5,000,603 cases on Sunday morning and 162,441 deaths - both totals by far the highest of any country in the world.

    US coronavirus deaths top 10,000: Johns Hopkins tracker

    The Baltimore-based school, which has been keeping a running tally of global coronavirus numbers, said there are at least 347,003 confirmed infections in the US with 10,335 deaths.

    US virus deaths pass 5,000: Johns Hopkins

    The US death toll is lower than those of Italy and Spain but above the 3,316 recorded for China, where the pandemic first emerged in December.
