Bok Captain Siya Kolisi’s alma mater renames rugby field in his honour
The famous Grey High School in Gqeberha re-wrote history on Saturday after officially naming it the Kolisi Field.
Philip field will be known as The Kolisi Field in recognition of the Rugby World Cup winning captain’s exploits as well as becoming the first black player to lead the national team.
Springbok captain Siya Kolisi Kolisi attended Grey High School in 2004 starting grade 7 after he was identified and awarded a bursary for rugby until he matriculated in 2009.
