Solidarity taking Seifsa to Labour Court
Trade union Solidarity will approach Labour Court to stop Seifsa from locking out non-striking workers.
Seifsa announced that 23 of its member companies will shut down for the duration of the strike.
The NUM says it has been forced to call a strike due to the Chamber of Mine's low offer.
Solidarity says it is highly unlikely that unions and the Chamber of Mines will settle on an offer soon.
Amcu previously refused to make inputs for a plan to stabilise the industry.
Striking Marikana miners want those inside the mine to down tools and join them.
