    Macron hosts Africa 'summit' without leaders

    Instead of other heads of state and premiers, French President Emmanuel Macron is inviting hundreds of young businesspeople, artists and sporting figures to the southern city of Montpellier.

    Policeman's suicide ends 35 year French serial killer mystery

    French anger to test UN unity

    Ministers of the five veto-wielding nations on the UN's most powerful body - Britain, China, France, Russia and the United States - will meet together Wednesday during the annual week of diplomacy, with the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan high on the agenda.
