Law enforcement officers removed Bulelani Qholani from his home while he was naked and later allowed him to put on some clothing.
A video, which has been shared widely, shows the officers removing Bulelani Qholani from his home in the Empolweni while he was washing himself.
Qholani said that his body is still in pain after Cape Town law enforcement officers manhandled him.
There's outrage after a man was roughed up by law enforcement officers who were tearing down illegally erected shacks in Empolweni on Wednesday.
The city dismantled four homes in the Khayelitsha community of Empolweni leaving the families that had been living there with nowhere else to go.
According to the city, these structures were illegally erected on city-owned land.
The Khayelitsha community went to court last week after their homes were demolished, despite a prohibition on evictions during the lockdown periods.
