Bongani Baloyi appointed Action SA's Gauteng provincial chairperson
Action SA leader Herman Mashaba has announced two new appointments in the party’s leadership.

Baloyi said there’s an understanding and appreciation of shared values with Herman Mashaba, this as he was announced as the newest member of ActionSA.
Bongani Baloyi was revealed as a new ActionSA member on Monday morning.
Bongani Baloyi, who served two terms as Midvaal mayor, quit the DA last month, saying that he would give details of his future plans in the new year.
The party, in a cryptic media alert, said that the individual being announced would add great value to the party and to its programme of governance and diversity of leadership.
Bongani Baloyi announced his departure from the DA on Monday morning on his Twitter account but refused to share details of his next move, saying that he would share those details in February next year.
In a short Twitter thread, Baloyi tweeted that he is leaving the party out his own agency and not because of any purge. “I will always be proud of, and I will remain great full to the DA for their support and opportunities afforded to me,” he also tweeted.
On Wednesday, it was reported that an email implicating Tsukudu in the corruption was sent to Mayor Bongani Baloyi.
