Egypt attack to spur on Saudi-backed Muslim military alliance - crown prince
The crown prince has said he would encourage a more moderate and tolerant version of Islam in the ultra-conservative kingdom.
The four Arab states boycotting Qatar have said that sanctions would remain in place until it met their demands.
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE and Egypt imposed sanctions last month, accusing Qatar of financing extremist groups.
Doha retorted that the allegations against it and demands were baseless and unacceptable.
Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and Bahrain cut ties with Qatar on June 5, accusing it of support for Islamist militants, an allegation Qatar denies.
The last flights operated by Emirates and other major regional airlines left the capital, Doha, early Tuesday after Arab nations cut ties with Qatar.
