Afropunk festival in Joburg set to be full of surprises
Headlining artists include The Internet, Public Enemy, Flying Lotus, Thundercat and Thandiswa Mazwai.
The festival will take place at Constitution Hill under the theme 'The People Resist'.
Organizers of the event say that the purpose of the project goes beyond being a concert.
Taking the stage today is Black Motion, Thebe, DJ Doowap and Rudeboyz featuring Sho Madjozi to name a few.
Solange Knowles announced on Wednesday night that she will not be performing at the Afropunk Fest Joburg.
She was expected to headline the festival set to take place on 30 and 31 December in South Africa.
