Joshlin Smith (6) from Saldanha was reported missing on Tuesday (20 February).
Allegedly entrusted to her mother's boyfriend on Monday (19 February) due to illness, Joshlin vanished without a trace upon her mom's return.
Witnesses recall seeing her last in the company of an unidentified boy, wearing a light blue t-shirt and denim shorts, with a distinctive birthmark on her left arm.

On Wednesday night, a massive search effort involving over 200 friends, family, and community members, including Mayor Truter, combed through Diazville.
Despite their determined efforts, they returned empty-handed.
Truter says that the search will continue today, aided by helicopters.
