This includes digitalising SAPS’ docket system.

Police are working to digitise their docket management system to root out corruption.

So revealed Mchunu during his address at the summit.

"Very often we get told dockets disappear because people pay corrupt police for the disappearance for dockets and so on. No amount of money you will pay for the disappearance of dockets because at the end no docket will disappear, we will do this together with business."

Mchunu says they will also work with the private sector to establish a forensic lab in each province.

Currently, there are only three police forensic labs, spread across Durban, Cape Town and Pretoria.
