In the first Episode, EWN travels to Bredasdorp and catch up with the family of Anene Booysen, the teenager whose rape and murder became a symbol of the broader issue of gender based violence. It was a moment around which a rallying call grew. It’s been more than seven years since the teenager was gang raped and murdered. EWN caught up with her family, and the family of the man who’s serving time for her murder.
