The matric final exams enter week two on Monday.
Papers this week include accounting, English, History and Mathematics.
The National Senior Certificate (NSC) exams started with the computer applications technology practical exam last Tuesday and the first week ended with Afrikaans Paper Three.
In 2025, 77,442 candidates will write the NSC exams in the Western Cape.
Grade 12s will sit down to write Accounting Paper One on Monday afternoon.
English Paper One will be written on Wednesday, followed by the first History paper on Thursday.
In the Western Cape, as in previous years, the subject with the largest number of candidates is Mathematical Literacy, with 53,206 candidates writing paper one this Friday and paper two on Monday.
On the other end of the scale, two subjects have just one candidate writing in the province - Sesotho First Additional Language, and Setswana Home Language.
