KZN's N3 opened after hundreds were stuck in snow

JOHANNESBURG - The N3 in KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) has been cleared after vehicles were stuck in heavy snowfall over the weekend.
Hundreds of people were stranded on the road linking Johannesburg and Durban since Friday.

The KZN Department of Transport confirmed that a taxi passenger died from hypothermia in hospital on Saturday.
The N3 Toll Concession operations manager, Thania Dhoogra, says traffic is now flowing around the Tugela Plaza and Harrismith.
