Kwaito musician Siphiwe Sibisi dies aged 48
Sibisi was part of the group Chiskop, together with kwaito legend, Mduduzi 'Mandoza' Tshabalala and Sibusiso 'SB-Bless' Thanjekwayo.

JOHANNESBURG - Kwaito musician Siphiwe Sibisi, known as "General GTZ", has died at the age of 48.
Sibisi was part of the group Chiskop, together with kwaito legend, Mduduzi ''Mandoza' Tshabalala and Sibusiso "SB-Bless" Thanjekwayo.

His family said that Sibisi, who was the last surviving member of the group, died in hospital on Sunday after a major operation.
"We wish to thank all those who loved and supported him during all his years as a prominent and pioneering music entertainer of our beloved South African people. May his beautiful, kind spirit live on through the legacy of his kwaito music," said a statement shared by the family.
