With President Cyril Ramaphosa due to announce his Cabinet in the next day or two, we take a look at the main players in the Government of National Unity (GNU).

JOHANNESBURG - The Government of National Unity (GNU), as of Tuesday, comprises 10 political parties.
This comes after no parties secured an outright majority in the May 2024 national elections.
With many moving parts in a structure not seen in the South African political landscape since 1994, it can be hard to keep up.
Here are the current members of the GNU:
